Check out out latest news in our EXPLORER'S GUIDE (PDF). As an Undergraduate Studies student, you are expected to be an active participant in the major exploration process. Our goal is to assist you with your transition to the University and to help you choose an academic major consistent with your abilities and career aspirations. The clock is ticking and you must begin the exploration process now to be ready to make an informed decision before you have earned 60 credit hours. Set aside some time each week to reflect on the process but don't obsess about it. Your major will NOT come to you in a dream or overnight. Keep a notebook about your journey through the process, talk to people about their journey and how they got into their job, and develop a sense of perspective–you are not the first person to be undecided. Most importantly, think about how you make decisions and do you normally choose the first thing that comes to mind OR do you take time and gather information to make an informed decision. 1. What interests you 2. Your talents 3. Your values 4. How to match these with a career The bottom line is this is a process that you can rely on your academic advisor to guide you through. Below are some helpful resources for you to be successful on your journey. Helpful Links for Current Students
