National Student Exchange

The National Student Exchange (www.nse.org) is an association of over 170 United States colleges and universities who have joined together to provide exchange opportunities for their students. Students can exchange for one semester or one full year.

The NSE Information Sessions have been scheduled. These are all held in 102 Miller Hall. Students will be able to get an application at the session.

Monday, September 29: 3:00—4:00pm

Tuesday, October 7: 12:30—1:30pm

Monday, October 13: 3:00—4:00pm

Tuesday, October 21: 12:30 – 1:30pm

Monday, November 3: 3:00—4:00pm

Tuesday, November 11: 2:00—3:00pm

Tuesday, November 18: 2:00—3:00pm

NSE Coordinators

Placements are closed for the 2008-2009 academic year. Informational meetings will be held in fall 2008 and spring 2009 for the next cycle. Application packets are provided at the meeting and non-refundable application fee is $125. Application is February 2009 for placement in the 2009-2010 academic year.

Requirements

  • a full-time student at UK at the time of application, the term before the exchange and the term following the exchange
  • at least 12 credit hours completed at UK
  • a minimum 2.75 GPA

Costs

  • UK tuition and fees
  • room, board and transportation to and from host campus
  • $125 non-refundable application fee
