For Parents Banner

Parents are partners in the advising process. The goal for Undergraduate Studies is for your student to be successful at the University of Kentucky and explore the majors offered by UK. Studies show students that start as undecided students generally do not take any more or less time to graduate than declared students. Choosing a major is not a life choice but, it is a process. The major decision making process includes self-assessment and exploration which requires active participation from your student. Advisors and career counselors are available to meet with students to help with this process.

As our partner, please consider subscribing to our parent listserv where you will receive quarterly announcements and our newsletter. Email listserv@lsv.uky.edu and type SUBSCRIBE USUS in the body of the text, and follow the directions to confirm your subscription to subscribe.
