What is an academic advisor?

Academic Advisors can help students:

  • Explore their academic and career goals.
  • Be informed about current information on academic majors.
  • Identify campus resources for study skills, career and internship opportunities, research opportunities, and other services on campus.
  • Be aware of important university academic deadlines, procedures, and policies.
  • Develop an academic plan that meets their educational goals.
