October 31, 2007 Phishing Email
Recently, UKFCU members have reported receiving another "phishing" email
appearing to be from the Credit Union claiming that " We regret to inform
you that we have received numerous fraudulent emails which ask for personal
account information. The emails contained links to fraudulent pages that looked
legit. Please remember that we will never ask for personal account information
via email or web pages ." The fraudulent email then asks for members to
call (425) 998-1138 and confirm their identity to reactivate their card. This is
a fraudulent email and did NOT come from the University of Kentucky Federal
Credit Union.
