Ownership

UK Federal Credit Union is a member owned financial cooperative, chartered in 1937 to effectively provide member based quality financial services. A board of directors, elected from the membership, declares dividends, sets loan rates, administers policies, and determines the future direction of the credit union. The board hires a President/CEO to oversee the staff and daily operations of the Credit Union. The board, committees and staff remain committed to serving you by offering member driven services and maintaining a financially sound institution.

Eligibility

You are eligible for membership if you, an immediate family member, or a household member are part of the following groups/organizations: (Family members and household members do not have to be members for you to be eligible)

  • UK Federal Credit Union employees
  • UK faculty and staff (full and part-time)
  • UK students (full and part-time)
  • Kentucky Community and Technology College System (KCTCS) employees.
  • Kentucky Community and Technology College System (KCTCS) students.
  • EKU faculty and staff, (full and part-time)
  • EKU students (full and part-time)
  • Pattie A Clay Regional Medical Center employees (full and part time)
  • Home Economists and County Agents employed by the USDA in Kentucky
