Living on Campus "What’s it like to live on campus at UK?" "Really there is nothing else like it." "Every student should live on campus, at least for one year." "I don’t think a price can be put onto the experience that comes with moving into a dorm as a freshman." "It gives you a sense of inclusion and friendship that I don’t think otherwise I would have had." "Because you really get the feeling of being connected to the campus." "Everybody is always right down the hall and you have got twenty of your best friends that are right next door." "I remember doing cart wheels up and down the hall with my friends." "UK actually does a really great job of placing you with roommates." "We studied together, we worked out together." "Those are the people who are going to end up being your best friends through time." "Think food in college is all mac and cheese, Ramen noodles and pizza? Just because you are student doesn’t mean you have to eat like one. Not at UK. You have places like Intermezzo, Chick-fil-A and Ovid's, just to name a few. They same the camera adds ten pounds. Really? I just think it’s the food. " "The food choices here are actually a lot more diverse, than any other school we have actually looked at." "There are a lot of different options for food that you can walk to. It’s always really fun to walk to and figure out what you are going to do." "Being able to walk to where you are going to eat with convenience quickly and safely is a huge plus to this campus." "It really made it feel like it is your home away from home." "The students here make themselves a family it’s not just a university or a college."
