DSL
DSL is available to those departments without Ethernet connections to the university network. The DSL service offers 1.56 mb download and 56kb upload capability, unlimited access, and is available over existing departmental telephone (323 or 257) lines.
The monthly recurring fee for DSL service will be $29.95 per month. If you wish to transition to DSL, order online or email CNS.
Dial-Up ISP
Earthlink is UK's dial up provider for departmental users. Current monthly cost for the Unlimited Dial-up Plan is $20.95 with 1-800 and International calling fees extra.
The service offers:

- Instant Messaging
- Domestic local access from multiple locations
- International (per minute fee) and 1-800 Service (per minute fee) where local access is not available.
iPass
iPass Internet Access allows employees to easily access the Internet and email from anywhere in the world, securely, for the price of a local phone call.
Modem Pool
The Modem Pool service provides UK students, faculty and staff a remote connection to UK's electronic resources. Any computer that supports PPP (Point-to-Point Protocol) remote connections can use the UK Modem Pool. The service is provided at no-charge to UK students, faculty and staff members.
