Cisco Aronet 350 Series Mac OS 9.x Setup
- Download Cisco 350 Mac driver from http://www.cisco.com/pcgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/aironet-utils-mac . Get Version 1.0.2
- Insert the wireless WAN card, then run the installer.
- After the restart, open the folder labeled "Disk 1" from the Version 1.0.2 folder
- Start the application program called "pcm340PPC" and set the SSID to ukyedu. Under the Network Security tab, check the box marked: Allow Association To Mixed Cells (note: you can monitor the signal strength in this program).
- Under the Apple Menu, open the TCP/IP control panel and set "Connect Via" to Cisco WAN adapter. Next, configure the setup to use DHCP to obtain your IP address. Close and save the settings.
- Under the Apple Menu, open the Appletalk control panel and connect via the Cisco WAN adapter. Close and save the settings.
- If you are in a wireless zone, you should be able to connect to the network now.
