Undergraduate Studies offers academic advising for prospective and current students at the University of Kentucky. Professional academic advisors provide guidance about UK academic expectations and curricular requirements to better position you during the transfer process and to ensure success after matriculation. Full-time professional advisors are available to speak with you in Undergraduate Studies Monday through Friday from 8 am until 5 pm. Undergraduate Studies also provides a full-time transfer advisor to further assist students interested in transferring to UK in strategically planning course schedules, interpreting course equivalencies, and navigating the application process. The transfer advisor holds regular office hours at Bluegrass Community and Technical College's Cooper Campus (100 B A.T. Building, (859-246-4620) for BCTC students on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesday afternoons and in Undergraduate Studies (109 Miller Hall, 859-257-3383) on Wednesday mornings, Thursdays, and Fridays. The transfer advisor also coordinates the BCTC Blue+ program, KCTCS partnerships with Undergraduate Studies, as well as advises the University of Kentucky transfer student organization, UKATS.

Are you either a current student or considering enrolling at Bluegrass Community and Technical College with the intention to transfer to the University of Kentucky? The BCTCblue+ program is designed to help guide students at BCTC in making the transition to the University of Kentucky, through special services, Pathway to Transfer guides, and the ability to take courses at UK as a visiting student while attending BCTC.

So you're interested in transferring to the University of Kentucky? Well, you're not alone. Over 1,500 students transfer to UK annually and we'd love to see that number increase. You can research the University and its programs online, talk with a transfer counselor during a recruitment visit or speak with college representatives at UK Transfer Days, schedule a campus visit or talk with a transfer advisor at your school or our own dedicated transfer advisor.
