Terry Mobley is Vice President for Institutional Advancement at the University of Kentucky. Mobley is a native of Harrodsburg and graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1965 with a bachelor’s degree in history. He was a Wildcat basketball player from 1961 to 1965. After graduation he worked for the IBM Corporation before returning to UK in 1977. He served 28 years as Chief Development Officer and then Vice President for Development before being named to this post in 2004.

Under the auspices of Mobley's leadership are the offices for Alumni Affairs, Development, and External Affairs which includes Community Relations, Government Relations, Public Relations and WUKY.
