Welcome to the External Affairs Office
Tom Harris is the Associate Vice President for External Affairs, the senior external relations officer at the University of Kentucky. The External Affairs Office is responsible for building partnerships and fostering relationships between the university and the many communities it serves, including governments, media, alumni, and other individual friends of the university.
As a unit of the Office for Institutional Advancement, the External Affairs Office oversees Government Relations,
Public Relations, and WUKY Radio (NPR station).
The office has the primary responsibility for both internal and
external communications and management of issues relating to the
university as a whole.
