Linda Maloney presents Veterans Resource Center (VRC) Director Tony Dotson with a check for $1,000 that will go to a deserving student veteran who is majoring in engineering. The scholarship is the first of its kind for the VRC and is an indicator of the great relationship between the VRC and Bechtel Parsons Blue Grass in Richmond, Kentucky. Student veterans are encouraged to apply for internships with Bechtel Parsons. To learn more about this great partnership, visit: www.bechtelparsonsbgcapp.com/. Bechtel understands and appreciates the maturity and experience our student veterans bring to the workforce and actively seeks to include them in their recruiting and hiring efforts. Negotiations are currently underway for Bechtel's first student veteran career fair at UK in the Fall 2013 semester.
