Letter from Teams Chairman
Welcome to DanceBlue 2009! We are extremely excited for another fun and exciting marathon this year, but we can not do it without your help! One of the best ways to get involved with DanceBlue is to start a DanceBlue team. There are two ways you can start a team. The first way is simply by being a part of a registered student organization and filling out the team registration form, which can be found in hard copy in the Center for Community Outreach in room 106 of the Student Center. It can also be found right here on the website under the documents tab on the left side of this page. To fill this form out you will need the contact information of your organization's advisor, as well as the signatures of both your organization's president and the designated DanceBlue team captain. Not in an organization? That's completely fine! The second way to start a team is to get with at least four other UK students and create your own team. You will also fill out a DanceBlue team registration form, as well as a student organization registration form, with which the DanceBlue team coordinator is more than happy to assist you.
The deadline for becoming a team is October 24th, 2008, so hurry up and become a team before it is too late! Also, if you have any questions, or would like more information, we will be having informational meetings on the following days:
- Wednesday, Sept. 24th in the SMART classroom in the CSI (rm. 106, Student Center)
- Monday, Oct. 6 @ 5:30 in the SMART classroom
- Tuesday, Oct. 21 @ 5:30 in the SMART classroom
We would love to talk and answer all of your questions during these meeting times, but understand you may be very busy. If this is the case, we do not mind to schedule another meeting time to fit your schedule! If you are interested in having a representative from DanceBlue speak during your organization's regularly scheduled meeting time, please let us know as we would be more than happy to do so!
