Many of the elderly here in Lexington are unable to spend time with their families because they can not leave their residences. Young at Heart volunteers talk, play games, and make crafts with the elderly in local nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Other opportunities such as BINGO with residents and the "Adopt-a-Grandparent" program are also available.
