KWRRI Presents Robert Lauderdale Water Quality Award to Ken Cooke

On Monday, March 17th, KWRRI presented the 2008 Robert A. Lauderdale Award for Outstanding Contributions in Water Quality to Ken Cooke.
A 2008 retiree from the Kentucky Division of Water , Mr. Cooke continues to bea leader on water quality issues around the Commonweatlh. His efforts in Kentucky include establishment and leadership of the state's Water Watch programs. In addition, Cooke continues as a trustee of both The Friends of Wolf Run and The Friends of Cane Run.
The Lauderdale Award was established in 2006 to honor the individuals who have worked diligently to improve the Commonwealth's water quality. The award ceremony took place at the Annual KWRRI Symposium in Lexington, Kentucky.
