David K Blythe Society Recipient Recognition Luncheon

The David K Blythe Society was created in 2005 by the College of Engineering to express its application to its many alumni and friends who so generously support undergraduate scholarships. This society includes all those who have established named scholarships in the college, either by endowment or annual gift.

Ellie White, student in College of Civil Engineering, was the recipient of the Robert Eugene Fish Scholarship, established by Nancy Fish Hanna, in honor of her father. She was lucky to meet both her and her sister, Melinda, and hear all the wonderful stories they had of their father. Mr Fish was a 1938 civil engineering graduate.

Ellie has been employed with the KWRRI for over a year, contributing greatly to various projects through the department. Her plans are to graduate in May, 2015 and to pursue a graduate degree. Her artwork has been featured also on the UK-SRC website and numerous power point presentations for the Superfund Research Program. Congratulations!
