The Department of Statistics offers programs of study leading to the degrees of Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy.  Both the M.S. and the Ph.D. program offer a Mathematical Statistics track, as well as a Biostatistics track. The latter track is designed for students who envision a future at the interface of Statistics and the Life Sciences.

Master of Science and Doctoral Programs

The Department of Statistics is pleased to offer in-person Master of Science (M.S.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees in Statistics.  Admitted applicants come from a variety of academic programs but consistently possess strong backgrounds in mathematics, a keen interest in data analytics, and an aptitude for problem solving and probability.  Graduates of both the MS and PhD programs will possess skills for careers in both academia and leading industry positions.
