Chelsea Brislin serves as the admissions counselor for the Honors Program at the University of Kentucky. She is responsible for developing recruiting initiatives and public outreach programming, as well as supervising the Honors Program Ambassador Team.
A Louisville native, Chelsea is a 2011 graduate of the University of Kentucky Honors Program, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Art History, with a minor in French. She went on to earn her Master of Arts degree from New York University in Interdisciplinary Humanities with a focus on Appalachian photography. She is currently working on a PhD in English Literature.
Outside of her work in Honors, Chelsea serves on the LGBTQ Task Force at UK. She enjoys reading, running and cooking, as well as volunteering with the Lexington Humane Society, playing matchmaker with rescue dogs and dogless friends.
