SMART Scholarship

The SMART Scholarship Program is for students pursuing a degree in STEM disciplines to receive a full scholarship and be employed with the Department of Defense upon graduation. Rotary Peace Fellowship

Rotary Peace Fellows are leaders promoting national and international cooperation, peace, and the successful resolution of conflict throughout their lives. Fellows can earn a master's degree in several fields or a professional development certificate in peace and conflict resolution. Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree and strong academic record and have a strong commitment to international understanding and peace.

Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Fellowship

The Rangel Program seeks individuals from all fields who are interested in foreign policy and careers in the State Department Foreign Service. The Program provides a summer enrichment program for undergraduates and funding for graduate school. Visit the website for more information.

Qatar Scholarship

The Qatar Scholarship Program offers the opportunity for dedicated Arabic language students to master their skills in an intensive Arabic program at Qatar University for an entire academic year. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident between 18 and 40 years old, have completed a Bachelor's degree by the beginning of the program and have studied Arabic for at least two years. Public Policy & International Affairs (PPIA) Junior Summer Institute

The PPIA Fellowship is a seven-week summer program that focuses on preparing students for graduate programs in public and international affairs. Students must be a U.S. citizen in order to apply and should be committed to completing a Master's Degree in public/international affairs at a PPIA Consortium graduate school. Pasteur Foundation Undergraduate Internships

The Pasteur Foundation of New York encourages students to pursue scientific careers and expose them to an international laboratory experience during a 10-week summer internship. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen and should have working knowledge of French. Visit the website for more information.

Overseas Press Club Foundation Scholarships

The Overseas Press Club Foundation sponsors a scholarship for students interested in becoming foreign correspondents. The scholarship pays for travel and living expenses and provides an internship at foreign bureaus. New York City Teaching Fellows

The NYC Teaching Fellows Program is designed specifically to provide fellows with training, support, and resources needed to succeed as teachers in New York City public schools. Participants teach full-time while earning a master's degree in education at a partnering university. Education majors are not eligible.
