Ricky Grewelle, a sophomore Chellgren Fellow majoring in biology and chemistry, has been accepted to the Eleventh Annual Marine Resources Population Dynamics Workshop in Layton, Florida. The all-expenses paid workshop is presented by the National Marine Fisheries Service and the University of Florida.
The weeklong workshop allows up to fifteen students from across the nation to explore the dynamics of marine populations and the potential for a career in the management of marine resources.
Grewelle will be at the Keys Marine Lab in Layton, Florida from March 2 to March 8, 2014. He will work with faculty from the University of Florida and scientists from the National Marine Fisheries Service.
