Director of Student Affairs
Meg oversees the Honors advising team, is the primary administrator for curricular issues, and manages the program’s assessment plan. She also teaches UK 101 and serves on a wide variety of university committees.
Meg is an UK Honors Program alumnus, having graduated with a BA in English and minors in Business and Classics in 2001 and an MA in English in 2003. Her areas of scholarly interest include 19th and 20th century American literature, gender studies, and corporeality and body studies. She worked previously as the UK English staff advisor and has taught extensively at UK and Transylvania University.
Outside of her many responsibilities in the Honors Program, Meg spends time with her fifth-grade daughter, reading voraciously, knitting, cooking, and skating in her eighth season with her roller derby team, the Rollergirls Of Central Kentucky (ROCK).
