Meg serves as the advisor for all Honors students, program coordinator (scheduling classes, organizing events, serving as faculty liaison, running student programs, coordinating admissions processes), LLC partner, and Singletary Scholars program coordinator. She also teaches UK 101 and serves on a wide variety of university committees.

Meg is an UK Honors Program alumnus, having graduated with a BA in English and minors in Business and Classics in 2001 and an MA in English in 2003. Her areas of scholarly interest include 19th and 20th century American literature, gender studies, and corporeality and body studies. She worked previously as the UK English staff advisor and has taught extensively at UK and Transylvania University.

Outside of her many responsibilities in the Honors Program, Meg spends time with her second-grade daughter, reading voraciously, knitting, cooking, and skating with her roller derby team, the Rollergirls Of Central Kentucky (ROCK).
