Phi Beta Kappa is the nation's oldest and most widely known academic honor society. The Society celebrates excellence in the liberal arts and sciences.
The Alpha Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa elects members and hosts an induction ceremony in April.
To be elected into Phi Beta Kappa, students must meet our criteria which are explained on our membership requirements page. Students at the University of Kentucky may be nominated in three ways:

When in doubt, NOMINATE! Duplicate nominations are not a problem. Nominations will be accepted through Friday, February 26, 2016.
