Sue Scheff joins the Honor’s Program to assist with academic advising, work to identify students for national and international awards, assist with career planning and development, and help to execute service learning opportunities.

Sue is a UK graduate – received her Bachelor’s degree from University of Kentucky in Business Administration. Her background in advising and program development spans many years both in California and Kentucky (UK). Her years spent in the University of Kentucky College of Engineering as Director of the Women in Engineering program (1991 - 2005) opened her eyes to the many job opportunities in science and engineering (STEM) fields. As AMSTEMM's coordinator/advisor (2005 – present) Sue directs her energies to assist Appalachian and minority students as they pursue their STEM major. She is currently excited about her new role in the Honors Program and is looks forward to meeting the 1st year class as well as the returning students each Fall.
