This document explains how to use Echo360 Personal Capture to record, edit and publish videos from your computer. To fully utilize this guide, you should have the Personal Capture software downloaded and installed before you begin.

Note: In order to publish a recording, you must already have an Echo account and course set up. To request access, please contact the UKIT Service Desk.

About Echo360

What is it?

Echo360 is an audio, video, and screen capturing software and streaming service at UK that can be integrated with Blackboard or iTunes U. Recorded content is hosted on the Echo360 server and can be published as Rich Media Flash files for viewing online, or MP3 audio or M4V video files for download. Streamed content is available for viewing until the end of the semester in which it was recorded, while downloaded content may be retained indefinitely.
