This listserv is created for the purpose of allowing University of Kentucky Departments to advertise and transfer equipment that has become surplus to the needs of their respective units. Please do not abuse or misuse it. Only UK equipment can be placed on this listserv. Items are not to be sold here. Items funded by an active grant (state, federal or otherwise) cannot be listed. Capital equipment purchased at the State cannot be listed here.
Due to contractual obligations, No duplicating equipment (Printers, Fax , Scanners, Copiers, etc….) can be advertised.
To enroll, please do one of the following:
(1) If you have an email program installed, click on this link to compose an email to join the mailing list: mailto:LISTSERV@lsv.uky.edu?body=SUBSCRIBE SURPLUSSWAP-L hu
(2) If you DO NOT have any email program available, you can use webmail to join the mailing list. Send an email from the account you want to enroll to LISTSERV@lsv.uky.edu with this in the email body: SUBSCRIBE+SURPLUSSWAP-L hu
Once that email is sent, you should hear back in a day or two from the mailing list moderator about your request to enroll.
All Hospital equipment must be approved by Hospital Accounting prior to being allowed on the listserv. Submit requests to Ty Paul email@example.com (in his absence, send to Nancy Hammond firstname.lastname@example.org).
All College of Medicine equipment must be approved by the College of Medicine Deans office prior to being allowed on the listserv. Submit requests to Ann Emmerson email@example.com.
All College of Arts and Sciences equipment must be approved by the College of Arts and Sciences Dean's office prior to being allowed on the listserv. Submit requests to Kelly Muschong firstname.lastname@example.org.
