New Gatton Assistant Dean

The Gatton College of Business & Economics would like to announce that Meg Marquis recently started as our new Assistant Dean. We’re delighted to have Meg join our team. She will be located with the rest of our advising staff in the Undergraduate Resource Center in room 144 Gatton.

The Study South has Moved

The Study’s south campus location (formerly at Commons Complex) has been taken off-line, and will be relocated to Donovan Hall (formerly where the Honors Program was located) for this academic year.  See the attached press release for more information.

2 New JPN courses for Fall

We are excited to announce that two additional JPN content courses, JPN 400G and JPN 405, will be offered in Fall 2017. Both courses will be taught by a postdoctoral scholar we are hiring. Both courses are open to all undergraduate students. (JPN 400G is also open to graduate students.)

ENT 110: Insect Biology

ENT 110: Insect Biology is offered every fall and spring semester, including Fall 2017. The class meets from 9:30 to 10:45 on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Erikson Hall. ENT 110 fulfills the core requirement for natural sciences. We cover a wide range of topics including insect identification, insect pests, beneficial insects, pests of concern to Kentucky, diseases transmitted by insects, their importance as pollinators, and much more!

SAP Outage

At 5 p.m. on Friday, June 16, until Monday, June 19 at 7 a.m., Information Technology Services (ITS) will conduct necessary maintenance that will require SAP and all related systems (e.g., SAP, myUK, myUK Mobile, ProSAM, HANA, etc.) to be offline or have limited functionality.  

All normally scheduled production jobs in SAP on Friday, June 16, need to be completed by 5 p.m. Jobs not completed by 5 p.m. will automatically be canceled so the system can be shutdown appropriately for scheduled modifications.
