Open Graduate Assistantship Positions in SOA for 2017-2018 Academic Year

The Office of Student Organizations and Activities (SOA) (http://getinvolved.uky.edu/) at the University of Kentucky is currently searching for Graduate Assistants for the 2017-2018 academic year.

Graduate Assistant positions are available with the Center for Community Outreach - Alternative Service Breaks program, Student Activities Board, Student Government Association, and Student Organizations.

UK 101/201 Instructor Applications

On behalf of Student and Academic Support, I am pleased to let you know that we are now accepting applications for instructors for UK 101/201 for the fall 2017 semester. We will accept applications throughout March, and we will begin placing instructors in April. UK 101, like many other programs on campus, has undergone extensive review over the past semester, so please take note of the following new changes/policies regarding the course. If you have any questions, I am more than happy to help (goodpaster@uky.edu or 257-6597).

The Study is now hiring all Peer Tutor positions to start Fall 2017. The Study is currently seeking peer tutors who display competency in course material and passion for academic success. Specific requirements include:
· Earned an "A" or "B" in the course(s) applying for
· Taken the course(s) here at UK
· Maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher

Gathering at the Table - locally sourced Community Dinners including conversations on food justice

Gathering at the Table, a collaborative effort between the Department of Dietetics and Human Nutrition and the Food Connection, is hosting our first of six locally sourced Community Dinners on March 22nd at 6 PM at the Food Connection at the 90. The dinners are ‘pay what you can’ with a suggested donation of $5 to support the local farmers providing the ingredients.
