Bring your lunch and join us for a session on brainstorming ideas for conference proposals. This will be an interactive session where you can get feedback on your own conference proposal ideas or get help generating ideas. This is also great way to find collaborators.

Bring your lunch and join us for a presentation on Appreciation Languages in the Workplace by Rachel Hoover. She has presented on this topic at multiple conferences and is prepared to share information about appreciation language and her experience about submitting and presenting for conferences.

Bring your NACADA or other professional conference proposal and have it reviewed by one of our Advising Network reviewers. These reviewers have experience writing and reviewing proposals and will be on hand to share their advice and feedback as they review your proposal with you. Remember the deadline to submit for the Annual NACADA Conference (held in Louisville, KY this year) is Feb. 21st. Help us make sure UK is well represented!

Bring your lunch and join us as someone from the counseling center discusses student anxiety and provides tips to help advisors understand and positively impact students coping with anxiety.

Bring your lunch and join us as certified Green Dot trainers provide an overview of Green Dot, a prevention initiative to reduce the instances of (1) dating and domestic violence, (2) stalking, and (3) sexual assault on our campus and other communities. She will explain UK’s process of creating a curriculum and space for students who work on campus that helps them gain professional competencies.

Bring your lunch and join us as certified Green Dot trainers provide an overview of Green Dot, a prevention initiative to reduce the instances of (1) dating and domestic violence, (2) stalking, and (3) sexual assault on our campus and other communities. This event is one of several initiatives that will take place throughout April as part of  Sexual Assault Awareness month.
