The mission of the James W. Stuckert Career Center is to serve students, alumni, and employers with high-level career education programs and to provide students with work-based experience and employment opportunities.
Eligibility for Services
Any undergraduate student currently enrolled in a degree program at the University of Kentucky is eligible for unlimited use of career counseling services including individual appointments, mock interviews, workshops, on campus interviewing, Wildcat CareerLink and the use of the career resource library.
Graduate students currently enrolled at the University of Kentucky are welcome to take advantage of our drop-in service referred to as Quick Career Consultations as well as any of our programming. We are not able to schedule individual appointments. If the graduate student happens to be a UK undergraduate alumnus, please contact Alumni Career Services.
University of Kentucky alumni who have graduated within the past 6 months are eligible for one appointment with a Career Center counselor and are invited to our Career Center programs.
Any local, state, national or international employer that provides equal employment opportunities and adheres to the National Association of Colleges and Employers ethical standards as outlined in the "Principles for Professional Conduct for Career Services and Employment Professionals" is eligible to use the University of Kentucky Career Center recruitment services.

The James W. Stuckert Career Center at the University of Kentucky is committed to providing privacy of personal information for our clients.
Jobs and internships posted on the Wildcat CareerLink system do not mean they have received endorsement from the James W. Stuckert Career Center. Site users are urged to carefully review job postings and use caution and common sense when applying. Do not disclose social security numbers, credit card information, or bank account numbers to unknown employers. If you receive an emails asking for you to make deposits into your account, do not do so and contact us immediately. Although Stuckert Career Center maintains ownership of all student profile data and resumés in Wildcat CareerLink, resumés and profiles of students and alumni participating in any of these services reside on the NACElink servers. There is a local resumé database in which students and alumni will have the option to place their resumé. These are known as resume books and we share these only with employers who have signed confidentiality agreements with our office.
Student and employer information from Wildcat CareerLink/NACElink may be used to construct aggregate reports that assist Stuckert Career Center in program planning for statistical reports or to inform clients of services and programs that may be of interest. This information may also be used to troubleshoot problems and is accessible only to Stuckert Career Center staff. Any information shared with parties outside of Stuckert Career Center is shared only in aggregate form.
