New Faculty Teaching Academy: Teacher and Course Evaluations
Niles Gallery, Lucille Little Fine Arts Library
Wednesday, April 12, 2017 - 3:00pm
Workshop concludes at 4:00.
End-of-semester student course evaluations will soon be upon us. Time to be elated, depressed, angry, and confused. This workshop will explore how to interpret the feedback so that it provides useful information for self-reflection on teaching practice. We will also examine some of the current dialogue in academia regarding student evaluations and ways that you can supplement the limited feedback that the standardized forms supply.
This workshop is part of the New Faculty Teaching Academy series designed to provide new faculty with basic information that will contribute to a successful start at UK. However, all instructional populations are welcomed to attend. The workshop is offered twice in order to access more faculty. It is not a two-part workshop.
Coffee, water, and light snacks will be provided.
Contact Bill Burke (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you have any questions.
