Welcome to Dr. Hildebrand's Forum. Feel free to use this message board for questions, comments, answers, and discussion. If you have any problems with the forum, e-mail ryavec@hotmail.com or dstep0@pop.uky.edu. If you need help using the forum, there are instructions below. Enjoy the site and thanks for visiting.

HOW TO USE THE FORUM:

This is how a forum works. People can post messages to the forum, and others can reply to those messages. It's that simple.

Viewing the Messages --
On the home page, the messages structured so that replies to messages are directly underneath the message and indented a bit. Each message will contain the title, the first few words from the body of the message, and the date it was posted. By clicking on the title, the site will display the full message. When you are this page, you will have the option to make a reply to the message (See "Replying to a Message")

Posting a New Message --
Posting a new message is not a reply to another message, but an entirely unique post. By clicking on "Post a New Message" from the home page, you will be taken to a pge with several fields. Simply type in the subject of your message, your name, and your e-mail address into the respective fields, and then type your message into the textbox. If you want to be notified via e-mail when some replies to your message, check the box. When you're done, click "Submit Message."

Replying to a message --
When you view a message, you will be given this option. Simply click on the "Reply" button, and you will be taken to a page like the New Message screen. Then follow the directions in the previous section.

Searching the Forum --
This is just like using a Search Engine like Yahoo or Metacrawler. Type the key words into the field. Then select "any" to search for messages containing any of the words, "all" for messages with all of them, and "as a phrase" for messages with the words in that order.

If you still have questions about the site, e-mail ryavec@hotmail.com or dstep0@pop.uky.edu
