About the Award
The Sanders-Brown Centenarian Award recognizes Kentuckians who have reached one hundred years of age. This is an opportunity for the Center on Aging Foundation to recognize and honor individuals who exemplify graceful aging and serve as an inspiration to others.
Nominations may come from individuals, organizations or other groups. Couples will be considered separately. All required materials should be submitted in one packet. These materials will not be returned. Sanders-Brown Centenarian Award Nomination Form
All nomination materials are due on or before March 9, 2016.
The 2016 Sanders-Brown Centenarians will be recognized at two different events in April.
Sunday April 3, 2016 I Know Expo, Lexington Center
Thursday April 7, 2016 Center on Aging Foundation Dinner, Lexington Center
The Centenarian Award winner will be asked to provide the following materials for recognition purposes: brief biography, photos for presentation, signed photo release form.
