The UK-ADC Clinical Core is dedicated to the study of normal brain aging and transitions across the spectrum of cognitive impairment (normal/ preclinical AD/ MCI/ dementia). The Core provides an integrated program of diagnosis, treatment and research. Sanders-Brown Center on Aging Clinic research participants are followed annually with neurological exams, cognitive testing, functional assessments, and offered family support. Clinics are staffed by neurologists, psychometrists, and social workers.

Volunteers Sanders-Brown Healthy Brain Aging Research Volunteers are cognitively normal elderly persons that participate in yearly memory testing and agree to donate brain tissue for research purposes at the time of their death.
