If you need further assistance than attending the Major/Career Decision making workshop, you may receive Career Counseling Sessions at the UKCC. Sessions focus on aspects of decision making including assessing interests, personality preferences, values, skills, decision making process, as well as factors (e.g., mental health concerns, family conflict) that might be impacting your ability to make a decision. To begin career counseling at the UKCC, either walk-in Monday-Friday 9am-3pm for an initial assessment or call 859-257-8701 to schedule an initial assessment. During your first appointment, you can let your clinician know that you are interested in receiving career counseling services.

Career Assessment

Inventories such as the Strong Interest Inventory (SII), Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), and the Campbells Interest and Skills Survey (CISS) are available at no cost to students through the Counseling Center. The results provide students information that can help them through the career/major decision-making process. If you are interested in taking one of these assessments, please walk-in Monday-Friday 9am-3pm for an initial assessment or call 859-257-8701 to schedule an initial assessment.
