The Lexington Herald-Leader's Tom Eblen recently wrote a recap of UK/CoD's Mayor Institute on City Design. The event, held in conjunction with the National Endowment of the Arts, occured on October 10-12 in Lexington.
Seven mayors from cities across the eastern United States met with a team of design professionals to discuss design issues facing their cities.
"It was a terrific, creative, collaborative learning process," said Liz Rogan, president of Lower Merion's Board of Commissioners. "I learned that there are creative solutions and processes and different ways of seeing things."
