2011 Kentucky SBIR-STTR Conference is March 7 in Lexington
The Event
This annual conference is an opportunity for small tech businesses, entrepreneurs, and university researchers to learn about the $2.5 billion Federal SBIR-STTR Program funding opportunity. The conference will help attendees learn about the differences in the SBIR and STTR programs, eligibility requirements, and how to win an SBIR or STTR grant. The SBIR-STTR Program Managers from several federal agencies will present their agency-specific programs and be available for one-on-one meetings with the conference attendees. Invited participating agencies include DoD-Army, DHS, EPA, NASA, NIH, NSF, and USDA. The conference also provides an opportunity to learn about the Kentucky SBIR-STTR Assistance Programs and other state programs for small businesses.
