Coldstream Research Campus
Where business and research connect
Business and research connect at Coldstream Research Campus, a premier business location situated on 735 acres owned by the University of Kentucky. Coldstream is highly visible and accessible from I- 75/I- 64, Exit 115 Newtown Pike, and only minutes from the downtown Lexington business community and the University of Kentucky campus.
Currently, more than 1,360 people work at Coldstream in a variety of businesses. Many of the technology-based companies partner with the University of Kentucky in the areas of pharmacy, biotech, agriculture, equine research, engineering, and sustainable energy. University related facilities at Coldstream include the College of Agriculture Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory, pharmaceutical manufacturer Coldstream Laboratories Inc., the Center for Aluminum Technology, the Human Development Institute, and the nearby Center for Applied Energy Research.
Coldstream offers exceptional lease or build opportunities, specialized facilities for R&D, and an on-site hotel and conference center. The site is development ready with existing roads, all utilities, access to redundant electrical service, and conduit for additional data lines all in place.
Coldstream also offers opportunities to enjoy the world-famous Bluegrass Region. A 225-acre city park with walking and jogging trails creates an emerald necklace around the campus. Almost two miles of the new 12.5 mile Legacy Trail, a shared-use pedestrian-bike trail and public art venue, is on the Coldstream campus, connecting downtown Lexington to the Kentucky Horse Park.
