Ohio Valley Affiliates for Life Sciences (OVALS) hosts annual meeting in October in Louisville
LEXINGTON, Ky. (September 14, 2012) – The Ohio Valley Affiliates for Life Sciences (OVALS) will hold its 10th annual conference, “Meeting Health Care Challenges through Technology and Novel Approaches,” October 1-2 at the Hyatt Regency Louisville.
This year’s conference will cover innovation and commercialization opportunities in biotechnology. Special emphasis will be placed on partnership opportunities for commercialization of medical devices; the realities for start-up companies of raising capital in today’s environment; connecting start-up opportunities to resources; university life sciences technologies; and changes in patent law and how they affect the U.S. patent process.
