The seminar will be presented by Dr. Bob Berger (former SBIR/STTR Program Manager) of Robert Berger Consulting.
Information on Kentucky SBIR/STTR Phase Zero grant and the Kentucky SBIR/STTR Matching Funds grant will be presented by Dr. Mahendra Jain of the Kentucky Science & Technology Corporation.

The Federal SBIR/STTR Program has more than $2.5 billion for grants to small firms for high-risk R&D and product development. The Kentucky program is funded by the Cabinet for Economic Development (CED) and Office of Commercialization and Innovation (OCI). The Matching Funds Program provides up to $150,000 for Phase I and up to $500,000 for Phase II (up to two years). These matching funds are to be used for new and additional work tasks that are complementary to your existing Federal SBIR/STTR Award - both faculty and small businesses can participate.
