Highlights: KY SBIR-STTR Phase I Proposal Preparation Workshop, General Focus

The Federal Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer Research (STTR) Program has more than $2.5 billion for grants to small firms for high-risk R&D and product development.

This workshop helps attendees learn how to prepare high-quality, competitive proposals for these federal agencies — from fundamentals and strategic planning, to proposal development and submission. The workshop also provides an opportunity to learn about the Kentucky SBIR-STTR matching funds program and other state programs for small businesses.

This event is designed primarily for anyone from universities, the business community, state and local leaders, students, and postdocs; but anyone interested in small business innovation research and small business technology transfer projects and proposal preparation will benefit.
