LVC entrepreneur celebration will be Feb. 1 at Buster’s
The annual Lexington Venture Club entrepreneur celebration is scheduled for Feb. 1, 5:30 p.m. at Buster’s Billiards & Backroom, 899 Manchester St. in Lexington. The LVC will release their annual survey of early-state Central Kentucky companies, which reports venture funding, revenue, number of people employed and the average full-time salary for the area’s high tech companies. Typically, the companies participating in the survey are in the biotechnology and healthcare, advanced manufacturing, IT and software, and energy and biomass sectors.
In addition to the annual celebration event, the LVC holds monthly meetings to bring entrepreneurs, investors and service providers together to share new business opportunities. It was co-founded in 2002 by Commerce Lexington and the University of Kentucky Von Allmen Center for Entrepreneurship and Lexington Innovation & Commercialization Center in the UK Office for Commercialization & Economic Development.
Please RSVP to slackey@commerccelexington.com. Admission is $35.
