Mayor Gray declares Lexington Global Entrepreneurship Week
LEXINGTON, KY (Nov. 15, 2011) ─ More than 60 Lexington area entrepreneurs turned out at Base 163 on Monday, Nov. 14 for Lexington Mayor Jim Gray’s proclamation of Lexington Global Entrepreneurship Week. Michael Hartman and his wife and business partner, Pang, spoke about their decision to keep their company, Frogdice, in Kentucky instead of moving to Austin, TX. Hartman is the president and CEO of the online gaming company based in Lexington. He recently won the 5 Across pitch contest and received funding from the Kentucky Enterprise Fund to expand operations in Kentucky. Frogdice is a client of the Lexington Innovation & Commercialization Center, part of the UK Office for Commercialization & Economic Development.
