New round of 5Across competition begins on Feb. 29 at Awesome Inc.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 2, 2012) ─ The first round of the 2012 5Across pitch competition featuring presentations from local entrepreneurs kicks off Feb. 29 at 5 p.m. at Awesome Inc., 348 East Main Street in Lexington.

The 5Across pitch competition is five bimonthly rounds of competition where local entrepreneurial teams have five minutes to present their business pitch for a chance at $500 and a presentation to the Lexington Venture Club. This year the grand prize has been upped to $4,000 and $1,000 for the runner-up at finals in December. The winner will also have the opportunity to pitch to the Bluegrass Angels.
