UKCED Vice President Speaks at Louisville Venture Club

LEXINGTON, KY (Feb. 25, 2010) — Len Heller, vice president of the UK Office for Commercialization & Economic Development (CED), will be the featured speaker at the Venture Club of Louisville on March 3 at the Galt House in Louisville.

Heller's presentation, titled "Winning at the Next Level," will challenge universities and the private sector to form more partnerships to move university technologies into the marketplace and create more technology-based companies.

In addition to Heller's presentation, Jim Clinfton with Therix Medical, a privately funded company that works with UK clinicians to develop and market device and diagnostic concepts, and Greg Plucinski with Summit Biosciences Inc., located at the UK Coldstream Research Campus, will give five minute presentations.
