Technical Requirements

In order to have a successful experience teaching with technology, there are some minimum technology requirements that should be met. These requirements are crucial to ensure that all systems function properly.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Webcam (Recommended)


Internet Connection

  • 1 MBPS Broadband Connection

If you will be doing any of your instruction away from campus, running the following speed test can verify if your connection is sufficient. (Note: testing from campus is unnecessary and will result in abnormally high results.)

Minimum Requirements for Students

Baseline technology requirements for your students are also critical to the success of your course. We suggest you share minimum technology requirements with your class.
