Sam Beavin is a Louisville native studying chemistry and math. He works in an organic chemistry lab at the Center for Applied Energy Research and also helps coordinate the UK Beyond Coal campaign. Sam hopes to pursue a career in medicine (possibly neurology) and spends his free time reading, running, and watching basketball.
