Admissions Overview
The 2024-2025 Admissions Cycle opens April 25, 2024, and closes July 15, 2024.
The UKPA Program values academic acumen, leadership, lifelong learning, diversity and inclusion, ethical and professional behavior, advancement of medical knowledge and quality, safe, and accessible healthcare. To this end, we employ a holistic admissions process, wherein academic success, as well as personal attributes and experiences, are considered. The program selects 40 students for the Lexington campus and 16 students for the Morehead campus who matriculate in the Spring. Applicants may apply to only one campus and are not allowed to apply to both.

Information Sessions
The UKPA Program hosts info sessions each semester for the upcoming admissions cycle. During the informational session, the Student Affairs Officer will complete an overview of the profession, program curriculum and history, and admissions requirements.

Technical & Behavioral Standards, Background Checks & Drug Screening
All students matriculating into the UKPA Program are required to meet certain technical and behavioral standards of the program and College of Health Sciences.
