Definitions

The maximum single student occupancy in any studio, efficiency, one bedroom, or two bedroom unit is two persons. In University Flats, the maximum family occupancy is two persons.

Efficiency - A one-room, with living room and bedroom combined, small kitchen, full bath. Maximum family occupancy is 3 persons.

Two Person Suite - Each unit is furnished with a twin, extra-long bed with a memory foam mattress, two desks, two desk chairs, two wardrobes, two three-drawer storage chests and a daybed.  Each unit has a sink in the room and shares a bathroom with a toilet and shower with another resident in the adjoining unit; same gender residents share the adjoining bathroom. Maximum occupancy is 1 person per unit; 2 people per suite.

One Bedroom Residential Unit - Living room with a dining area, one bedroom, kitchen and bath. Maximum family occupancy is 4 persons.

Two Bedroom Residential Unit - Living room with a dining area, two bedrooms, kitchen and bath. Maximum family occupancy is 6 persons.

Two Bedroom Townhome - Living room, dining area, kitchen, downstairs half bathroom, two bedrooms and a full bathroom upstairs. Maximum family occupancy is 6 persons.

Greg Page Stadium View

One mile from the main campus, these two bedroom residential facilities are centrally heated and air-conditioned. They have vertical or venetian blinds and wall-to-wall carpeting. These residential facilities are more spacious than their counterparts on campus. A central laundry facility is available. Reservation priority for Greg Page is given — in this order — to families with children, families of more than two adults, two single individuals living as roommates, and then spouses with no other family members.

LTS 625 South Limestone

This residential facility is located in the heart of campus directly across South Limestone from the College of Law and the Gatton College of Business and Economics. The inside of the buildings is accessed by key. They are centrally heated and air-conditioned. They have wall-to-wall carpeting and venetian blinds. A shared laundry facility is provided. A limited number of storage lockers are available.

LTS 633 Maxwelton Court

A limited number of townhomes are located in the heart of campus directly across South Limestone from the College of Law and the Gatton College of Business and Economics. Townhomes have two upstairs bedrooms and a full bathroom. A half bathroom is located on the first floor. A washer and dryer is provided in each townhome. Appliances include a dishwasher and microwave. They are centrally heated and air-conditioned. They have wall-to-wall carpeting and venetian blinds.

Roselle Hall

Roselle Hall is a single student community located on north campus on the Avenue of Champions. Roselle Hall offers two-person suites in which each resident has a private bedroom and shares a bathroom with a toilet and shower with another resident in the adjoining unit; same-gender residents share the adjoining bathroom. Roselle is close to local restaurants, a short walk to a grocery, and walking distance to main campus and the UK hospital.

Shawneetown

These efficiencies, one and two bedroom residential facilities are located one mile from the main campus. These residential facilities are centrally heated and air conditioned. They have wall-to-wall carpeting in the living room and venetian blinds. Each building has a laundry facility. Three playgrounds and lawn space surround the complex. Reservation priority for two bedroom residential facilities in Shawneetown is given to families with at least one child.

University Flats

University Flats is UK’s newest residential community designed specifically for University of Kentucky graduate students, post doctorate fellow and researchers, and medical residents. University Flats is located at the intersection of University Drive and Huguelet Drive. U Flats is within walking distance of University Hospital, William T. Young Library, The 90 dining facility, and most graduate and professional schools. U Flats offers studio and one bedroom, fully furnished apartments.
