Student Employee of the Year Award

What You Need to Know: 

Nominations are now open for the Annual UK HR Student Employee of the Year Program! Help us recognize our outstanding student workers: Submit a nomination by March 20!

Join HR Student Employment in recognizing outstanding contributions and achievements of UK student employees by nominating potential candidates to become the 2015 UK Student Employee of the Year.  Nominations are due by Friday, March 20th. 

We will select 10 finalists and their supervisors to attend our 8th annual Student Employee of the Year award ceremony at the Boone Center in April. During this ceremony each finalist will be recognized and we will announce this year’s Student Employee of the Year!

Nominations for the 2014-2015 UK HR Student Employee of the Year can be submitted through this online form »   We encourage all employers to nominate their outstanding student worker by Friday, March 20.  Feel free to pass this opportunity on to other supervisors in your area.

Students must meet the following criteria in order to be nominated:

  1. Students must currently be work-study or hourly student employees at UK.
  2. Students must have completed or expect to complete at least six months of part-time or 3 months of full-time employment on or before April, 2015.
  3. Students may not be employees of the UK HR Student Employment Office.
  4. Students must be in a UK undergraduate degree program and enrolled in at least a half time credit load for both Fall 2014 and Spring 2015.
