Carla Washnock, Patient Coordinator and Melissa Karrer, Program Developer from Kentucky Cancer Link will be with us to talk about the basics of caregiving. The most difficult thing to deal with as an adult child is to care for an aging or sick parent or loved one. Are you starting out in the role of caregiver and realizing the immensity of the caregiving tasks ahead? Or are you a long time caregiver and feeling the effects of your caregiving efforts? Either way consider this - stepping back to the basics. Every once in a while we have to stop, re-group and go back to the beginning. It can help! A fresh look at the basics can give you a fresh look at caregiving.
